Michael Bale and Associates have delivered the full civil engineering design and documentation for the this 104 lot residential townhouse project on flood affected land in a rapidly expanding area of Pimpama.
Our scope of services included flood assessment, stormwater management plan and service connection planning during the Development Application Phase. In this process we coordinated with the surrounding development projects to ensure
The detailed design included roadworks, drainage, sewer and water reticulation. A portion of the external roadworks was delivered as trunk infrastructure for the City of Gold Coast.
We have also provided contract administration services for the developer to support the execution of the successful construction of the project.
Seachange, Coomera
Michael Bale and Associates delivered the full civil engineering design and documentation for two separate stages of the retirement living development on the Coomera River.
During the Development Application phase we delivered flood modelling, stormwater management and coastal engineering services.
The detailed design included all civil engineering services, interfacing with the environmentally protected Coomera River and adjoining developments.
We carried out all site inspections and provided certification of the development.
Emerald Lakes, Carrara
Michael Bale and Associates carried out the detailed civil engineering design for the six most recent stages of the Emerald Lakes development, including Harbour Villas, Hilltop and Hillside projects.
The civil engineering design included land reclamation works and complex management of flood storage in a sensitive and important part of the Gold Coast floodplain.
In total across all stages, this development includes over 2km of internal roadworks as well as upgrades to the surrounding public streets. We provided all site inspections and certification of construction works for all six stages.
Yatala Logistics Hub, Yatala
The Yatala Logistics Hub is a 30 ha Industrial subdivision consisting of 36 lots within City of Gold Coast.
Michael Bale and Associates have delivered the detailed civil engineering design of the project and are currently in the process of carrying out the contract administration and supervision of the construction works.
The civil engineering design work has included the detailed design of the civil subdivision, regional pump station and rising main, water network capacity assessment, two external intersection upgrades and external road upgrades.
27 Dixon Drive, Pimpama
Michael Bale and Associates have undertaken the detailed design of a 3.0Ha commercial development in Pimpama, that includes a new service station, tavern, gymnasium and specialty stores.
During the Development Application Phase, the Civil Engineers at Michael Bale and Associates optimized the approved stormwater management strategy for the project and reduced the volume of underground stormwater detention by approximately one million liters, achieving significant savings for the client.
The detailed design of the project included significant internal and external (public) roadworks, drainage, water and sewer reticulation.
Mountain Bike Facility (Commonwealth Games), Nerang
The project included the development of a new mountain bike facility in the Nerang State Forest as well as upgrades to the Nerang Velodrome, clubhouse and cycling facilities which will hold events as part of the Commonwealth Games.
As part of the project we were responsible for flood modelling of the Nerang State Forest which assisted in the planning of the track layout from the inception of the project.
We were also responsible for the earthworks design, car parking and road works, new structural access ramps and clubhouse amenities.
Our involvement of project has been from the pre-design planning of the facility through to completion of construction in late 2016.
Jimboomba Park Redevelopment, Jimboomba
This major public facility upgrade project included new rugby league fields and club facilities and new netball courts, new tennis courts and associated club facilities.
The project also included new pony club facilities including an undercover dressage arena, an equestrian arena as well as new touch football fields, toilets, canteens and amenities.
The project required significant earthworks and civil works which included significant expansion to the internal road networks and car parking areas, as well as extensive services reticulation as part of the redevelopment of the parklands.
The project involved civil engineering design and construction services from the concept design phase through to construction documentation and supervision.
Robina Parkland Redevelopment, Robina
This project involves the redevelopment of the existing land parcel to incorporate 190 car parks, sporting fields, play areas, facilities building and café precinct for the City of Gold Coast.
Michael Bale & Associates have worked through the detailed design and of the civil and structural construction documentation.
Construction of the parkland project is set to start in mid 2019.
Waruga Road, Holmview
This project involves a residential subdivision consisting of 88 lots within Logan City Council.
Michael Bale & Associates have worked through the detailed design and documentation of the two stages of the development. The site earthworks for the project was circa 100,000 cubic meters of cut/fill/export and numerous 1-3 tiered retaining structures. Internal Q100 pipe drainage network was used in order to facilitate the detention system for the development.
